A New Approach To Safety
I've spent my life in high-risk industries - growing up on a farm in New South Wales, then working my way up to senior roles in oil and gas, even managing operations in places like Papua New Guinea. Through it all, I saw firsthand the devastating impact that can happen when complacency sets in.
Too often, I witnessed strong safety systems actually preventing people from thinking for themselves. Safety became an excuse to add more rules, not a mindset of how to work safely. After too many incidents that could have been avoided, I knew there had to be a better way.
That's what drove me to start Assure Safety and Compliance. We take a practical, integrated approach to safety - empowering people to make it a way of doing business, not just a box to check. My experience has shown me that true safety isn't about compliance alone, it's about changing the way companies approach it, from the ground up.
